Radiation Testing
The technologies we use today, from our everyday appliances, cell phones, even our cars, emit electromagnetic radiation that can penetrate and affect us, potentially compromising our health. After an extensive review of 2,000+ such studies, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences concluded Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs) “should be regarded as possible carcinogens.” We’re exposed to 100 million times greater artificial EMF radiation than our grandparents were, and that exposure grows each year.
The IndoorDoctor will test your mobile devices and wireless systems to document current radiation strength so you can make informed decisions on how your family uses current technology safely in the home.

Fiberglass Testing
Airborne fiberglass particles are an increasing air quality threat to most homes. The jagged microscopic glass penetrates the eyes, throat and lungs causing irritation and sometimes chronic respiratory distress. Fiberglass insulation from the attic, basement, inside walls, crawlspaces and duct work becomes airborne every time the fan turns on, doors open or shut or with pressure changes due to temperature. Once these particles become airborne they tend to stay airborne much longer than a typical dust particle.
The IndoorDoctor can sample and quantify the amount of fiberglass in your airspace so that you take action to improve your air quality.

Radon Testing
According to the Surgeon General, radon is the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer within the USA. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the American Lung Association agree that long term exposure to elevated levels of radon pose a significant health risk to you and your family.
Since radon is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas, the only way to determine if radon is in your home is by testing. The IndoorDoctor makes it easy to set up the test and make sense of the results.

Asbestos Testing
From 1900 until well into the 1980s, asbestos was commonly used in over 3,000 different products. Always assume that suspect materials contain asbestos fibers. Common materials that may contain asbestos include old floor and ceiling tiles, roof shingles, joint compound, gaskets, pipe insulation, and more.
The IndoorDoctor’s accredited asbestos inspector can take air or bulk samples and process them through a NVLAP Accredited Laboratory (using Polarized Light Microscopy or Transmission Electron Microscopy) to confirm the presence of asbestos in suspect materials.

Analytical Water Testing
The Environmental Protection Agency estimates nearly 19 percent of Americans drink water from systems that do not meet federal water-quality standards. The Natural Resource Defense Council estimates seven million people become ill each year as a result of contaminated drinking water. One-fifth of our nation's population drinks tap water with more than the EPA-approved level of microorganisms.
Let the IndoorDoctor test your water for pH, Hardness, Nitrates, Nitrites, Chloride, Calcium, Sodium, Iron, Manganese, Magnesium, Fluoride, Coliform & E. coli, Bacteria, Lead, Copper, Arsenic, Radon, series of volatile organic compounds and Methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE).

Bacteria Testing
We live in a world of germs. Some keep us healthy and others make us sick. Let the IndoorDoctor test the bacteria in your home to determine whether they threaten your health. Some bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, or MRSA, can cause life-threatening and disfiguring infections and can only be treated with expensive drugs. The IndoorDoctor bacterial evaluation will answer your complex microbiological concerns. We can test for MRSA, Legionella, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. A comprehensive sewage assessment clearance test will identify any presence of fecal matter and E. coli while addressing other bacterial considerations. Your bacteria inspection will culminate with a written report that classifies organisms present in the cultured colony to the genus level.

Consumer Food and Processing Testing
Let the IndoorDoctor complement your internal quality assurance standards by randomly sampling produce and processing machines in order to validate your sanitization and quality control processes. We use advanced identification technology to interpret biochemical reactions, fatty acid analysis, and morphological characteristics. These techniques are highly desirable for contamination source tracking, speciation of known contaminants, and raw-to-finished product ingredient analysis.
Your IndoorDoctor consumer food and processing testing can determine: Aerobic Plate Counts, Shelf Life, Total Coliforms, Nutritional Values, presence of Yeast & Molds, E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Food Allergens and more! |
